mBox Mail for Mac

Hotmail for your Mac mail client

Hotmail on your Mac.

Built on top of the same technology driving our popular Hotmail mail client for the iPhone and iPod touch, mBox Mail for Mac is designed to help you get your Hotmail your way.

Change is coming

As of September 1st 2009, Microsoft will discontinue support for the WebDAV mail protocol leaving Mac users no options but to depend on webmail or switch to the outdated POP3 mail protocol.

Why you should be excited

mBox Mail for Mac integrates into your Intel based Mac system and enables any* IMAP capable mail client to communicate with the Hotmail mail servers. This provides many advantages over the outdated POP3 protocol.

If you love Hotmail but feel trapped not having access to the benefits of a desktop mail client, try mBox Mail for Mac.

Use your favorite mail client

mBox Mail for Mac is not a mail client. It runs in the background and allows your favorite Mac mail client* to communicate with the Hotmail/Windows Live mail servers.

How does it work?

mBox Mail for Mac handles the translation between your Mac mail client and the Hotmail/Windows Live mail servers.
